Holy moly, this will be my fourteenth year at Albion Middle School and my gazillionth year as a school counselor. I earned my Master's Degree in Education in School Counseling at the University of Utah. I love working with and living in this community and am looking forward to another great school year.
I explore the outdoors with my family and when I'm not at work you can find me: hiking, mountain biking, camping, XC skiing, or floating lazy rivers. If you're new to our school, Albion is an amazing place to be with the BEST faculty! We like to have lots of fun and the positive energy is contagious.
I love working with middle school students. I love their curiosity, wonder, bravery and the humor they bring into my life. I look forward to working with you and your student this school year!
This is my third year at Albion. My first two years were just like everyone else's, unexpected! This year continues to bring challenges to our students, staff and community and I am happy to continue to provide support however I can.
A little background on myself; I was born and raised in northern Vermont. I was fortunate enough to play college basketball for a small school in Philadelphia, Holy Family University for 4 years and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Sports Management and Marketing. In May of 2019, I earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. Shortly after, I moved to Utah and began my career.
I have loved exploring Utah for the last few years. Some of my favorite activities are skiing, cycling, hiking and camping. From the mountains to the desert, I am continuing to enjoy the endless exploring that Utah offers.
I think middle school students are the perfect age to work with; They are funny, charismatic and always provide interesting perspectives on life. I look forward to getting to know your student(s) throughout their time at Albion.
This is my first year at Albion and I am so excited to see what middle school is all about! I will be doing my internship here while completing my Master’s Degree in Education for School Counseling at the University of Utah. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University.
I grew up in Sandy, UT as well as Southern California so I love both the mountains and the beach! I love playing volleyball, pickleball, and have recently been trying golf. I also love traveling, binge watching tv shows, and going to Swig.
I have a huge love for Canyons School District as I grew up in the area (went to Quail Hollow Elementary), attended other schools in the district, and even taught second grade for the last five years at Canyon View Elementary.
I love working with students and making school a positive experience for all! I am so happy to start this new career journey in such a great community.
